Head’s Up from Energy Alliances

Participants in the township’s electric aggregation program may receive a notification from Duke Energy indicating their account was dropped from the program. This notice may cause confusion for residents, so please read further for an explanation.

Rich Surace, the chief operating officer of Anderson’s broker Energy Alliances noted, “Dynegy is currently doing some clerical clean up with Duke. This process means they need to drop accounts and then reenroll them. All of this is happening at the same time. Unfortunately, this process triggers Duke to send out drop notifications even though when all is complete there is no change to the account status being in aggregation program.”

Up to 820 accounts could receive this drop notification from Duke that Dynegy is no longer going to be their supplier, even though the accounts will be reenrolled.

We apologize for the confusion - questions may be directed to Energy Alliances at 513.794.5555.
