Want to Volunteer Locally? Here Are Current Opportunities
If your 2025 resolutions include a commitment to “give back” by volunteering, there are several ways to help Anderson Township, for community events or on your own schedule.
Anderson Township created an ongoing “Volunteer Corps” for individuals who want to help with township events. Options through the corps include assisting with the Anderson History and Garden Tour, the July 4th parade, township cleanup events, the December holiday festival, and other events and programs.
There are, however, “on demand” volunteer needs or opportunities as well, for an individual, small or large group, or organization. These include adopting a roadway, assisting at the Senior Center, advancing a cleanup of a Greenspace property and painting fire hydrants.
The opportunity is not only for residents; Anderson Township welcomes the help from local businesses and their employees with these longstanding activities.
Check out these options on the link below and contact the designated sponsor of the event for more information.
