Anderson's Drop Off Recycling Center to Close November 9
With construction beginning later this fall on a new Anderson Township Public Works facility, the township’s free drop off recycling center will close November 9.
The center on Beechmont Avenue will not be relocated. Residents are urged to use their curbside or subscription trash pick-up services for recycling. Anderson Township continues to work with the owners of apartment and condominium communities to pursue on-site recycling options for those communities.
A new option for recycling and to dispose of larger household items, recently opened at 5180 Champions Way off Roundbottom Road near Milford. The new Clermont County Transfer Depot accepts all regular items in Rumpke’s recycling program, at no cost. It also accepts solid waste, construction debris, furniture and appliances for a fee. Hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, with the facility open 7 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. When entering the site, keep right, you do not need to enter the scale area to access the recycling bins.
