Ohio Historical Marker
Anderson Township will soon receive a new historic marker! The dedication of a marker for the James Clark Stone House on Clough Pike will be hosted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16. at the site, 6840 Clough Pike. Come celebrate this history of this extraordinary stone building and learn more about the amazing family story of James Clark, who came to Anderson Township in 1797 and immediately bought land along Clough Creek.
This marker is the fourth Ohio Historical Marker associated with historic buildings in the township.
Later that afternoon from 4-7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, Anderson Township hosts a community celebration at Anderson Center to recognize its 225 years as a township.
