Storing Hard-to-Recycle Items? Check out Recycling Hub

Cincinnati is home to a one-stop recycling and reuse center which helps residents find new homes for items traditionally not accepted in most recycling programs.

Located in Lower Price Hill, the Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub aims to revolutionize how people think about “things.” It also provides a one-stop location where almost anything can be recycled. Items donated go to more than 24 local and national nonprofits including ministries and Habitat for Humanity.

A great number of items are accepted for free including Styrofoam, metal pieces, prescription bottles, medical equipment and tools. A nominal fee is charged for recycling electronics, computers and more.

The hub on 911 Evans Street is open limited hours, Thursdays from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more details visit cincinnatirecyclingandreusehub.org.
