Trustees Turn Down Gas Aggregation Program

Anderson Township Trustees decided not to move forward at this time with creating a gas aggregation program, due to uncertainty about projected savings for township residents and businesses.

In the November 2022 election Anderson Township voters passed an issue asking trustees to establish a natural gas aggregation program. It was decided in late August of 2023 that the township would not move ahead with establishing the program as it could not be determined if a significant savings would be realized during the proposed 17-month term.  Anderson Township is involved in an electricity aggregation program that has operated since 2017.
