Home Address Signs Offered Through Fire & Rescue Department

In the event of an emergency at your home, will emergency responders easily identify your residence? Make sure your home is found quickly through reflective signage offered by a program sponsored by the Anderson Township Fire and Rescue Department. Address signs for mailboxes are being sold by the department and offered in two options. The signs are highly visible and reflective during both day and night. Greenspace Access Points Maps Now Available!

Are you a hiker who likes to get off the beaten path and blaze your own trail? If so, Anderson Township has a new Greenspace access points guide for you! Anderson Township just completed a guide to foster hiking of its Greenspace, including access points, for 14 of their 72 properties. What’s Next for Former Beech Acres Site?

Anderson Township residents are invited to weigh in on the future of two parcels of land adjacent to Beech Acres Park regarding how the space can best serve the public. Whose Road is That?

A recent post about the township’s summertime paving program in full swing on 50 streets this summer, sparked several great questions! Did you know that not all Anderson roadways are maintained by the township? Township Annual Road Paving Program Continues!

Warmer weather is here.  With this, Anderson Township's 2025 paving project contractor, John R. Jurgensen Paving Company, started road repairs in early June, removing the top layer of asphalt on nearly 50 roadways across Anderson Township.  Starting the week of June 30, the John R. Jurgensen Paving Company will be back to apply a leveling course of asphalt on the streets included in this year’s paving program, a process that will take several weeks to complete.  This step w...
