Daylight Saving Time This Weekend Fall Back Nov. 6

Anderson Township Fire & Rescue Department officials are reminding people they need to replace the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors this weekend when the time changes on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016: Daylight saving time ends at 2 am. Set clocks back one hour.

Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are two of the most important safety items in your home. Because of this, it is extremely important that these devices be maintained properly. The beginning of daylight savings time is a good reminder to make sure that these items are in good working condition.
