Sheriff's Citizens Academy Class Seeks Participants
Are you interested in local policing? The Sheriff’s Citizens Academy is seeking participants in a free 13-week program, from April 9th through July 2nd, designed to share firsthand knowledge about how the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office operates.
Participants will learn about the roles and responsibilities of the sheriff's deputies along with the dedication that goes into policing today’s citizens.
Details about the office's policing and organizational structure will be shared in the class. Other topics include criminal investigations, community policing and specialized units.
