Remembering Greenspace Inspector Suzanne Clingman

Anderson Township is deeply saddened by the passing of Suzanne Clingman on January 31, 2025. Suzanne was Anderson Township’s first Greenspace Inspector, joining the township in 2001 and retiring late last year. 

We were so fortunate to enjoy Suzanne’s friendship and personality. Our community will forever benefit from her expertise, dedication, passion and efforts as Anderson Township’s Greenspace inspector over the last 25 years. She covered a lot of ground, whether in the field managing more than 870 acres of properties under Greenspace caretaking, speaking with a property owner about a tree or nature concern, or guiding second graders around Anderson Lake during the annual History to Schools program.

Our thoughts are with her husband, Chris, and family.
